James began his engineering journey at National Grid, holding diverse roles in operations, construction, and quality departments, increasing his experience in both engineering and commercial fields.  

Notably, James was involved in development of the first ester transformer solution installation, and the connection of this transformer to the UK’s first tertiary 50MW BESS project at Hyosung Heavy Industry. Furthermore, he spearheaded the successful international launch of KrakenFlex’s software platform in Canada.  

Presently, as Senior Project Manager at TagEnergy, James is responsible of the delivery of several BESS projects in the UK, of which the first reached completion in May 2023.
