You will lead sub-streams of our Transactions team’s financing, M&A, and portfolio management processes. As an experienced modeler across bids, tenders, and offtake analysis, you will shape financial strategy, guide junior analysts, and ensure the robustness and consistency of models and templates that inform strategic decision-making across the business.

Skills and experience:

• A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics/Business, Engineering, or a related analytical field
• At least 5+ years’ experience in transactions deal-making and financial modelling, ideally within renewable energy or infrastructure
• Strong Excel-based financial modelling skills, with experience in modelling audit and review; Python, SQL, and data visualisation skills a plus
• Initiative-taker, detail-oriented and gets things done, comfortable guiding and training junior team members
• Excellent communication skills

You will play a hands-on role in TagEnergy’s European power market activities within our Electricity Markets team. Day-to-day, you’ll analyse market reports from external consultants, build revenue curves and forecasts, analyse electricity market trends, produce data visualisations, and contribute to our battery energy storage (BESS) optimisation models. You will work alongside colleagues across Europe and collaborate with internal stakeholders in project development, finance, and asset management.

Skills and experience:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Energy Systems, or a related analytical field
• At least 1 year of relevant experience in the energy sector, in market analysis, trading, consulting, or a related role
• Python and SQL for data retrieval, processing, and visualisation
• Familiarity with European power market structures, pricing mechanisms, and regulatory frameworks
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French or German is a plus
• Comfortable working independently on analytical tasks while contributing to a collaborative, international team
